About PCI MPoC:
MPoC stands for Mobile Payments on Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and it is a standard for accepting payments on mobile devices (e.g. smartphones / tablets). The main use case of MPoC is small merchants in a mobile environment, for instance taxi drivers or market merchants. PCI MPoC is a set of security standards developed by the PCI SSC (Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council) to ensure the secure acceptance of mobile payments, and certification involves implementing and validating compliance with these standards.
