Riscure Virtual Event: Secure Coding Explained

Join Riscure in the series of free virtual events dedicated to Secure Coding. The series consists of three separate webinars about Secure Coding and Fault Injection, covering theory, real-life examples of attacks, and a demonstration of Riscure products.

The first session will take place on May 27th, introducing the basics of Secure Coding and how it helps mitigate hardware attacks like Fault Injection. On June 1st, we will discuss real-life examples of an attack on an IoT device. The final webinar on June 4th will sum up theory and practice at the last session with the introduction and demonstration of Riscure products, like True Code, that help developers to secure their software developments.

First session: May 27th at 13.00 (CEST).

Nowadays, attackers often use hardware attacks to gain access to the software. In this talk, Riscure experts will discuss the basics of Secure Coding related to Fault Injection and explain the typical vulnerabilities exploited by attackers break into your products. This webinar will also cover the measures that can minimize the chances of successful hardware attacks on software.

Second session: June 1st at 16.00 (CEST)

After the first talk, you will understand Fault Injection attacks and how an attacker can use these attacks. However, how relevant are these types of attacks for the latest IoT devices? Should these attacks be considered when developing software for such a device? We will discuss an attack on a real-life IoT device, with an in-depth overview of an attack and what the vendor could have done to mitigate it.

Third session: June 4th at 20.00 (CEST)

The final session will conclude the series with an introduction and demonstration of Riscure products that can automatically assist development teams in finding fault injection and logical vulnerabilities.

We strongly recommend joining all three sessions to understand our comprehensive view on Secure Coding and to have an opportunity to ask questions in real-time. Nevertheless, all sessions will be recorded and will be available on-demand on the Riscure Webcasts platform.
