Riscure Expands its Mobile Payment Testing Services Range with Visa Accreditation for Token Solution

Author: Riscure Team

Riscure announces that it has been accredited by Visa to perform the security evaluations of Device Binding in Cloud Token Framework (CTF). This accreditation allows Riscure to provide comprehensive security assessments for Android and iOS devices, ensuring they meet Visa’s security requirements for mobile payment applications.

Device Binding in the Cloud Token Framework is designed to enhance trust between merchants and cardholders by securing mobile devices used in card-not-present (CNP) transactions. This technology combines cardholder Identity and Verification (ID&V) methods, such as biometrics and passcodes, with digital signing to authenticate both the origin and device of a payment request. By binding eCommerce or card-on-file tokens to trusted devices, the framework significantly mitigates fraud and increases approval rates for CNP transactions.

The accreditation primarily benefits the e-Commerce and online payments industries, where secure and seamless transactions are critical to maintaining consumer trust and satisfaction.

Pascal van Gimst, VP of Sales and Business Development at Riscure, commented: “At Riscure, we understand the importance of customer confidence in digital transactions. The framework supports expanding digital commerce use cases with a secure and scalable token solution, so that businesses can offer a seamless and secure payment experience linking consumers to their trusted devices.”

With this latest accreditation Riscure further expands its support for customers in the digital payments industry to help them deliver secure, reliable, and innovative solutions. By providing critical security assessments, Riscure supports the industry in preventing fraud, increasing approval rates, and fostering consumer trust in digital transactions.
