Riscure is a young and dynamic organization that specializes in testing and evaluating the security of software and hardware products, such as secure microcontrollers, SoCs, STBs, smart meters, DRM and mobile payment implementations. Furthermore Riscure is a leading vendor of security test tools, such as Inspector and JCworkBench. Riscure offers its services and products though a renowned team of technical and academic professionals from offices in Delft, the Netherlands, and San Francisco, USA.

In this challenging new position, you will be involved in all commercial aspects of our Security Lab, one of our units based in Delft. After spending time becoming closely acquainted with our services, skills and company philosophy, you will be self-driven to deliver your business performance targets. You communicate with prospects and customers, gain understanding of their requirements and translate their inquiries into attractive offers based on our services. You will grow relationships with our international customers in existing markets and through those strong relationships drive our share of wallet. You will identify opportunities and devise effective entry strategies for new markets. You contribute to industry events and public relations materials, including the website, sales and marketing presentations, white papers, brochures and other collaterals as needed. Alongside other colleagues, including our office in San Francisco, you put in place the right marketing and sales activities to differentiate our solutions. You report to the Security Lab’s Director of Sales and Business Development.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic professional with a technical academic degree, a passion for security in technology, and a strong commercial drive. You have proven that you can convert market interest into commercial results, particularly in consultative selling. Professional services and enterprise selling experience is a plus. You feel at home in a growing and dynamic company and can bring technical security concepts into the limelight with enthusiasm. You have a good feel for content, know how to create an appealing story line, and thrive in an innovation-rich environment. You have international experience and are a natural networker. You will excel at and enjoy representing Riscure Security Lab in the right places and situations within the industry.

Other requirements:

  • University/higher professional education degree (technical)
  • Strong affinity with information security and technology
  • At least 3 years of experience in a comparable sales or business development position in secure microcontroller, smart card and/or common criteria market
  • Strategic mind-set and ability to also work analytically
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Self-driven and result-oriented
  • Team-player
  • Creative and open to criticism and improvement
