Devices

Devices that deploy embedded technology are often a challenge to secure due to servicing and cost considerations. However, a growing number of devices includes important security functions which must function properly to prevent or limit abuse of the product. Riscure has extensive experience with reviewing device security. We analyse PCBs, probe address lines, reverse engineer firmware, challenge JTAG configurations, perform penetration testing on software upgrade mechanisms and search for potential interface backdoors.
