Over the past decade, unintentional data leakage and fault injection through side channels has emerged as a way for an attacker to retrieve secrets and bypass security checks. Whilst these attack methods have spread and become mainstream knowledge, mature test solutions to assist manufacturers and laboratories were not available.
The Inspector side channel test tool fills this gap by Side Channel Analysis (SPA, DPA, RFA, EMA) and Fault Injection testing (voltage, clock, optical glitching). Inspector is now available in two variants:
