Smart card
security testing
Riscure applies the latest attack techniques to
test smart card security. Our specialists were amongst the first to use
DPA, power glitching and
Java Card attack techniques in the mid and late '90s. Further, we test
the resistance of smart cards against new threats such as RFA, optical
(laser) attacks and DEMA.
Riscure security evaluations are recognised in
the MasterCard Chip Security Evaluation Program (CAST).

Embedded security testing
In the Security Lab,
Riscure researches and uses a wide range of attack techniques to test
the security of embedded devices.
These devices include payment terminals, Set Top
Boxes, PayTV satellite receivers, ADSL modems, voting machines, and
mobile phones.
Riscure tests the resistance of an embedded device
against reverse engineering techniques, such as bus probing, JTAG
analysis, component security analysis and logical ports probing.
Further, the applications and operating system security of an embedded
device are tested.
